		<description>Thanks, Shelly. I appreciate your publisher coming clean on the business relationship between your magazine and a new trade association that you are presumably covering from an objective standpoint.

Although I'm still not sure how this is possible when your publisher says:

1. "Our skin in the game is helping them to generate members, hence the ad in the magazine."

2. "And since we are their organizations “house” publication, we wanted to provide a forum for their president to communicate with their members each month, hence the IBNMA column."

It just seems odd that the editor of the magazine did not know that her magazine was the "house publication" of a trade group and part of the magazine's mission was to help them generate new members.</description>
