However, I must take exception to your comment that "most of the articles seem to be about advertisers." I've just started here, but already I can tell you that advertising has no bearing on our editorial planning. We're assembling articles for our August issue right now, and we (on the edit side) won't even know which ads will be in the issue until we get to the layout stage, quite some time after our stories are finalized. In publishing circles this is often referred to as the separation of church and state. Keeps us all honest. JSP-

You are not missing much. Most of the articles seem to be about their advertisers. Other than the lame podcasts, which are good for a few laughs, you're better off reading blogs on blogging or podcasting instead of these articles written for their advertisers.
