Um...I just didn't blog that day.

But NOW I have a purpose, instead of mental laziness!

Hmmm. Nice sentiment, but probably not a feasible idea. As a once daily podcaster, I think I would still podcast on that particular day. Although, time doesn't permit me to podcast every day anymore. I don't think silence is what we need to remember or honor those lost souls. More like action.

And I agree there are thousands of others who've lost their lives...for nothing. Tens of thousands of Iraqis have. The mainstream media needs to back off and let that community heal. But the bloggitysphere? I don't think so.

I'll do it as soon as we have a week of silence for the 3,000+ American "students" that have died in Iraq, serving their country.

While my thoughts are with the parents of the VT students, the actual size of this tragedy has been completely overblown in both the physical and virtual media.

Shit happens. Sometimes, really bad shit happens.

No, I don't plan on not blogging on Monday. I don't think it serves a purpose to be silent; what we need is communication, not silence, about tragic occurrences.
